ROGER ALFRED CRISMAN

                Roger Alfred Crisman age 75 of Harrison, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 1, 2022, at Woodland Hospice, Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Roger was born April 4, 1946, in Pontiac, Michigan the son of Carl Crisman Sr. and Evelyn (Findlay) Crisman. Mr. Crisman honorably served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.  After Roger’s completion of service to his country, he began working at General Motors Corporation of Pontiac, and remained there until his retirement in 1998, after thirty years of dedicated service. Roger was united in marriage to Ms. Linda R. Olson on August 20, 1983, in Pontiac.    

                Mr. Crisman had resided in Harrison since 1998, moving from Lake Orion, Michigan. Roger was a life member of the Pettit-Kapplinger V.F.W. Post 5738-Clare, Michigan, and a long-time member of the American Legion Post 404-Harrison. Roger enjoyed tinkering in his garage, working on cars and various other projects, following NASCAR, watching old movies, camping, cooking for his wife and in past years, wintering in Florida.

                Surviving Mr. Crisman is his wife of thirty-eight years, Mrs. Linda R. Crisman of Harrison, six children; Roger Crisman and wife Michelle of Harrison, Michigan, Brenda Ross of Kingston, Michigan, Pamela Garren and husband Dave of Fairview, Pennsylvania, Rodney Crisman of Speedwell, Tennessee, Carol Riley and husband Brian of Houghton Lake, Michigan and Tammy Lee and husband William of Speedwell, Tennessee, one step-son, Todd McKinney of Reed City, Michigan, twenty-four grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, two sisters; Doris Bierman of Wisconsin and Shirley Bell of Pontiac, Michigan, plus many nieces, nephews, extended family members and his beloved fur baby, Sassy. Mr. Crisman was preceded in death by his parents, one stepson, Dennis McKinney and four brothers; Carl Crisman Jr., Clayton Crisman, Robert Crisman and Dale Crisman.

                Life Celebration services and military honors for Mr. Crisman will be held January 29, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at American Legion Post 404-Harrison.
