ROBERT “BOB” JOHN TEMEYER 

                Robert “Bob” John Temeyer age 95 of Harrison passed away Monday, November 27, 2023 at MediLodge of Clare. Mr. Temeyer was born August 14, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Michael Temeyer and Mary (Wehofsky) Temeyer. Robert honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

                Mr. Temeyer had resided in Harrison since 2000, moving from Livonia, Michigan. He retired from Patternmaker and General Motors Corporation after many years of dedicated service. Bob was a faithful member of St. Athanasius Catholic Church-Harrison, Knights of Columbus Council #7571 of Harrison and was a past United States Coast Guard Auxiliary volunteer for many years.  Bob religiously prayed the Rosary daily and provided many people with “Pray the Rosary” yard signs and funded many billboards signifying the importance of the Rosary. Bob was an avid boater, spending many summers at his boat in Charlevoix, yard saling and frequenting many thrift stores throughout Northern Michigan.

                Surviving Bob are his close friends, Vicky and Gary Hudson of Harrison, Cindy and Mike Sharp of Harrison, Carol Leary of Harrison, one niece, one nephew, plus many friends at J & G Auto Clinic of Harrison. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, seven sisters, five brothers and his beloved four poodles.

                A Funeral Mass celebrating Bob will be held Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. from St. Athanasius Catholic Church, 310 S. Broad Street, Harrison, with Rev. Father J. Marcel Portelli officiating.  Visitation will take place Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until time of mass. Burial will be in Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia Friday, December 1, 2023.
