MURIEL ANN DAVIS

SEPTEMBER 25, 1948 – JANUARY 10, 2022

                Muriel Ann Davis age 72 of Harrison passed away Monday, January 10, 2022, at MyMichigan Medical Center-Midland. Muriel was born September 25, 1948, in Frankfort, Michigan the daughter of Merton Henry Hainstock and Madeleine Rose (Delamare) Hainstock. Muriel graduated from Beaverton High School in 1966. Soon after graduating, Muriel was united in marriage to Mr. Jerry Lee Davis on September 29, 1967, at the First Congregational Church, Harrison with Rev. Robert McCleary officiating.

                Muriel had resided in Harrison since 1985, moving here from Florida. She enjoyed crocheting, crafting, playing Sudoku puzzle games, solving puzzle books, reading, taking evening drives throughout the countryside looking for deer and attending various community gospel jamborees. Mrs. Davis was passionate about her family, she enjoyed morning coffee and game nights, as well as decorating for holidays, and having her family join for festivities. Summertime was spent with family, cooking out and having get-togethers. Muriel was very proud to be Grandma Mimi at Robert M. Larson Elementary School, Harrison.

                Surviving Mrs. Davis is her husband of fifty-five years, Mr. Jerry Lee Davis of Harrison, her four loving daughters; Lessa Price and husband Ron of Harrison, Shannon Harding also of Harrison, Tonia Davis and her significant other, Robert Walters of Harrison and Jessie Byrd and husband Tremaine of Harrison, seventeen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, with two great-granddaughters arriving soon, one sister, Alice Hardin and husband Dale of North Carolina, two brothers; David Hainstock and wife Bette of Missouri and Jack Hainstock and wife Sharon of Evart, Michigan, many nieces, nephews, extended family and her beloved fur babies; Rusty and Spooky. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her parents, her infant brother, one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter.
