                Jennie Mae Pohl 68 of Harrison passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland. Jennie was born October 19, 1952 in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, the daughter of Lester and Mary (Curns) Pearson. Jennie graduated from Harrison High School. Jennie made Harrison her life-long home.

                Jennie was united in marriage to Mr. Stormin Norman Pohl on January 29, 1999 in Harrison. Mr. Pohl preceded Jennie in death on November 14, 2011 after twelve years of marriage. Jennie was currently employed at Soaring Eagle Casino of Mount Pleasant as a Blackjack Dealer for over thirty years. She enjoyed vegetable and floral gardening, playing pool, bowling, visiting various casinos throughout Michigan, watching old western movies and Law and Order marathons with her great-granddaughter and making her famous banana bread, pumpkin rolls, jelly and rock candy.

                Surviving Mrs. Pohl are her loving daughters: Jacklyn Gonyon and husband Jamie of Ionia, Michigan and Alisha Kendall and husband Dave of Shepherd, Michigan, four grandchildren: Cassandra Anderson and husband Bryne, Brandon Gonyon and wife Jenna, Jacob Kendall and Joshua Kendall, four great-grandchildren: Madison Oakley, Benjamin Gonyon, Conner Gonyon and River Anderson, her mother, Mary Pearson of Harrison, three sisters: Connie Wheat and husband Don of Marion, Michigan, Tonya Bancroft of Harrison and Patty Eves and husband Mark of Kalkaska, Michigan, two brothers: Robert Pearson and wife Judy of Harrison and Lester Pearson and wife Mary of Marion, two step-daughters: Jody Pohl and Nichole Earhart and husband Gary, plus many nieces, nephews and numerous extended family members. Mrs. Pohl also was predeceased by her father.

                Funeral services honoring Jennie will be held Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. from Hope Baptist Church, 3315 East Townline Lake Road, Harrison, Mi. 48625 with Pastor James Bear officiating. Visitation will take place Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 12:30 p.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Pleasant Plains Cemetery, Harrison.
