Jeff was almost like an unofficial mayor in Harrison. He brightened people's lives as he walked along the streets and around Budd Lake almost daily, waving to and greeting everyone he met. As he hung out in Harrison restaurants and the library, he talked and made friends, while studying and writing religious texts. Jeff's main interests were religion, music, and art. In college Jeff was a fine arts major, creating beautiful portraits and other art. In high school he played drums and sang in a band named "DJ and the Minors," later renamed "The Beethoven Four." While attending college, he continued playing in bands that performed around the state. Later he played with bands in and around Harrison. Jeff was a long-time resident and well known personality in the community. Jeff's family, friends, and community will miss him.
