Freeman William Thornsberry

 Freeman William Thornsberry, 56, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 20, 2020.

Freeman is survived by his mother, Verna Thornsberry; his children: Jason Kechego; Melissa (Scott) Sanborn; Joshua (Maddy) Thornsberry; Travis Thornsberry (Katy). One sister, Diane; his grandchildren: Jason Jr., Brooklyn, Natalie, and Noah. His nephews and a niece: Miguel, Nicholas, and Meghan. His father, Claude Thornsberry preceded him in death.

Freeman was a loving father, son, papa, and great friend to everyone.

Freeman loved hunting, fishing, boating, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, hanging by the fire; but most of all being together with his children and grandchildren. Freeman was a man with many names. Lets see, there was, Say, Thornsberry, Sonnyboy, Julio, Freedog, but I would say his favorite names to hear called was Dad and Papa.

He was a jack of all trades, and if he did not know how to fix it, or knew someone who did, he knew how to at least rig it together getting it to work. He was always keeping himself busy with many projects.

Freeman was just one of those guys you just wanted to be around, always telling jokes and making others smile. He always entered the door with that grin that would light up the room.

During his last few years, he enjoyed summers a lot, spending as much time as he could at his camper, swimming daily and campfires every night.

Freeman was the owner and operator of a heating and cooling business for many years.

Although his passing was so unexpected his family and friends will always cherish their memories of him.      Celebration of Life services honoring Mr. Thornsberry will be held Saturday, July 18, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Harrison City Park, Pavilion B, 915 West Spruce Street, Harrison, Michigan 48625.
