DAVID DEVAN’ROY BRENT BURKHARD

                David Devan‘Roy Brent Burkhard age 1 year 8 months and 27 days, passed away tragically from a drowning on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at Covenant Medical Center Cooper, Saginaw, Michigan. David was born October 22, 2021 in Grayling, Michigan the son of David Micheal Burkhard and Alyssia Justina Renee Bryant. David had resided in Harrison since his birth.

                David was always a happy baby, he will fondly be remembered for his smile, cuddling, affection, blowing kisses and being a social butterfly. David enjoyed running and playing outside, watching cartoons and the television series, Garfield. Some of his favorite things included: eating Doritos and Gold Fish snacks, drinking ice water from his “sippy cup” and getting to wear new shoes, because they made cool sounds.

                Surviving David is his mom, Alyssia Justina Renee Bryant and fiancé Ryan Lee Burgos of Harrison, paternal grandparents, David Burkhard and wife Shannon of Harrison, maternal grandparents; Angela Massie of Pontiac, Michigan, Jason Bryant of Florida and Kimberly Comstock of Harrison, maternal great-grandmother, Brenda Kwapisz of Alger, Michigan, godmother, Kelly Murphy of Mt. Pleasant, five siblings; James Burkhard, Kaidenn Burkhard, Gunner Burkhard, Makenzie Czarnecki and Joseph “JJ” Czarnecki, ten aunts and uncles; Samantha Burkhard and William Quick, Ashley Adams, Gracie Burkhard, Parker Burkhard, Lyric Christy, Cashius Hannah, Savannah Ritter, Serenity Hannah, Peyton Hannah and Avianna Edgil, plus many great aunts, uncles and cousins. David was preceded in death by his father, David Micheal Burkhard on June 5, 2021 and his uncle, Devan Roy Bryant on September 5, 2021.

                Services for David will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. from Clark-Stocking Funeral Chapel and Cremation Service, 165 West Oak St., Harrison, with Pastor Connie Bongard officiating. A time of visitation will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Summerfield Township Cemetery, Harrison.
