CINDY SUE SIMPSON

                Cindy Sue Simpson age 59 of National City, Michigan passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 30, 2021. Cindy was born January 17, 1962 in Clare, Michigan the daughter of Gerald Morton Hubbard and Beverly Jean (Curns) Hubbard. Cindy graduated from Harrison Community Schools in 1980.

                Ms. Simpson had resided in National City for a short time, before moving from LaGrange, Indiana where she had lived since 2016, and previously residing in Harrison. Cindy enjoyed frequenting yard sales, visiting various casino’s, reading books, watching Lifetime and Investigation Discovery channels. Her greatest passion in life was loving her children, grandchildren and her fur babies. Staying in contact with her family through Facebook was very important to Cindy.

                Surviving Cindy are her five children; Melissa Nickell and husband Daniel of National City, Candence Monville of Sterling, Michigan, Heather Simpson of Turner, Michigan, Sara Simpson of Sturgis, Michigan and Paul Simpson of Howe, Indiana, ten grandchildren, one sister, Cathy Corrigan and husband Ron of Beaverton, Michigan, three brothers; Jerry Hubbard and wife Mary of Harrison, Charles Bailey of Harrison and Jeff Bailey also of Harrison, plus many nieces, nephews, extended family members and her beloved fur baby, Foxy Lady.  Ms. Simpson was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Sonny Bailey, and three brothers; Scott Bailey, Todd Bailey and Sidney Curns.

                Celebration of Life services honoring Cindy will be held Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, 165 West Oak Street, Harrison with Chaplain Teal Saylor officiating. A time of sharing and reflection will take place on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.
