ARDYS LINDSLEY

            Ardys Lindsley 85 of Harrison passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021 at MyMichigan Medical Center-Midland. Ardys was born July 12, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of Clarence Price and Mattie Mae (Gunn) Price. Ardys attended and graduated from Eastern High School, Detroit, Michigan in 1953. Ardys was united in marriage to Mr. Richard “Dick” Daniel Lindsley on March 2, 1973 in Detroit. Mr. Lindsley preceded Ardys in death on March 8, 2014 after forty-one years of marriage.

            Mrs. Lindsley had resided in Harrison since the fall of 1973, moving from Detroit. Ardys attended First Congregational United Church of Christ Harrison for many years. Ardys enjoyed knitting, crocheting, anything that involved crafting, avidly reading at least two books per week and wintering in Florida with her son Stephan and Leigh.

            Surviving Mrs. Lindsley is her son, Stephan Tobias and wife Leigh Trescot of East Palatka, Florida, four grandchildren; Stephanie Tobias, Sarah Collick, Danielle Harrison and Andrea Smith, nine great-grandchildren; Stephan, Alex, Madisyn, Justin, Ava, William, Bryan, Christine and Levi, several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Ardys also was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Terrie Smith.
