Why I am running for this office: Why I am running for this office: A good friend of mine approached me and said, "with your experience and the positive way you engage our community, you should run for Greenwood Township Clerk." It was at that moment I decided to run for office because the people of this township have such a positive spirit which inspires me to give back to the community. How you treat people is particularly important to me. I hope to bring that type of integrity back to the Clerk's Office, just like it was in days past. You can also trust me to bring positive change by ensuring that your hard-earned tax dollars are put to good use by the Township Board through the practice of an open and competitive bidding process for all contracts and services. But of all the things I feel l can contribute as a voting member on the Greenwood Township Board – It is the view that as a small, rural Township, I know that our people are our true assets. Though I am blessed to live here full-time, I also cherish time with the newcomers, the weekenders, the snowbirds, the families with young children, and those who have lived here far longer than I.
