Political platform statement
Why I am running for this office: I am running for re-election for Greenwood Township Trustee because I believe I am uniquely qualified to represent the residents of Greenwood Township, as I have lived and worked in Clare County for approximately 48 years, and have always worked with the public. Being a self-motivated person, with a strong work ethic, I do not give in to procrastination. I have learned to listen to the concerns and problems people are facing and have worked with them to resolve their issues. I believe that having lived and worked in Clare County for so many years, I understand the needs of our area. I firmly believe that it is in the best interests of our township to have representation from the entire community and not just one area. Greenwood Township is a great place to live and I will vote to continue to maintain its rural roots, while looking to the future for growth in technology and infrastructure. I believe our future is rooted in our strong history. I am asking for your support and vote on November 3, 2020. Please also consider splitting you ticket this election so the township maintains representation from all areas of our community.
