VIRGINIA PEARL ZAMARRON

 Virginia Pearl Zamarron 92 of Harrison passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 19, 2020. Virginia was born January 2, 1928 in Lansing, Michigan the daughter of Willie H. Reed and Alice F. (Walker) Reed. Virginia graduated from Lansing Eastern High School in 1946 and furthered her education with 2 years of college at Montcalm Community College.  On May 25, 1946 in Carson City, Michigan, Virginia was united in marriage to Mr. Ray Zamarron. Mr. Zamarron preceded Virginia in death in 2005 after fifty-nine years of marriage.

                Mrs. Zamarron had resided in Harrison since 2017, moving from Carson, City. Virginia retired from Chrysler Corporation after twenty-six years of service. She was a member of Nevins Lake Church, Stanton, Michigan for many years and attended First Baptist Church of Harrison for two years. Virginia enjoyed word puzzles, watching and cheering for her beloved Detroit Tigers, feeding and watching the wild birds, flower gardening and watching various televised sporting events.  

                Surviving Mrs. Zamarron are her four loving children; Patricia Miles and husband Tom of Stanton, Philip Zamarron and wife Rebecca of Macclenny, Florida, Gary Zamarron and wife Joyce of Harrison and Richard Zamarron and wife Deborah of Grand Ledge, Michigan, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson, one sister, Margaret Clason and husband Sam of Warsaw, Indiana, plus many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Zamarron also was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, William Dale Reed.

                Celebration of Life services honoring Mrs. Zamarron will be held Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. from Nevins Lake Church, 837 S.
