The Farwell softball team suffered their first two losses of the season on Friday. The Lady Eagles were hosting Bullock Creek in Jack Pine Conference play, and they came up on the short end in the twinbill, 12-5 and 13-0.

“We just lost our confidence and couldn't get it back,” head coach Emily Lauer said. “We made mental mistakes and those will get you every time. We need to get back to the team we are and have a little more fun it.”

For the night, Karleigh Ames and Jacey Stover both had two hits, including one home run apiece. Alaina Slocum had two hits in the opener, and she added one hit in game two.

Farwell was at home against St. Louis on Monday, they hosted Clare on Tuesday, they’ll stay at home to face Pinconning today (Thursday) and they’ll head to Beaverton on Tuesday. The Eagles are also set to host Ogemaw Heights on Thursday, April 30.
