Thomas (Tom) Clark 74, a well-loved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend to everyone he met passed away and went home to be with the Lord on October 31, 2025.
Born on January 13, 1951, in Mount Pleasant Michigan to Paul R. Clark and Reatha P. Clark. He was an amazing son to his parents making them proud in school as an athlete and musician. He lived in Warren Michigan raising his family and working as a property manager before he retired. His life was a testament to love, laughter, and friendship to everyone that knew him. He was a talented musician and band manager as a young man. He brought so much joy to his family when he picked up his guitar and started singing his tunes at every holiday gathering with a smile. His music brought joy, laughter and even some dancing to each holiday gathering. As a family we always looked forward to Tom walking in the door with his guitar in one hand and hugs with the other. He always had a positive attitude and wanted others to have one too. He was passionate about inspiring quotes especially quoting Zig Zigler “if you aim at nothing, you’ll hit it every time” and “every choice you make has an end result”. He was a positive thinker and wanted those he loved to always be successful.
Besides music his other passion was people. He loved to help others and be there as a support to others, especially those going through hard times. He was a shelter for those that needed a place to stay helping them get on their feet. He drove neighbors and friends to doctor appointments and the grocery store. He was a helper to anyone in need. He was the guy that loved with his whole heart and never judged anyone.
Tom was also a lover of all sports. He especially loved the Lions, Tigers and Pistons. He would gather at friends homes for football games and BBQs. He was called “The Boss Man”. He had special front row seating at these home events with everyone making him feel important.
His other passion was his family, especially his sister Sharon who was his very best friend. They talked on the phone every single day until she passed away in 2021. He was always there for his sister even in her passing. He was an amazing father to Theresa and Tonya. He loved being a dad doing all the things girl dads do. He shopped with them for dresses, shoes and make-up. He took them out to dinner and movies. He loved being with them embracing moments and letting them be kids. He was also an amazing husband for over 20 years to Tina. He shopped with her, pampered her, and bought her candles and tea as they would sit at the table and have long chats together. He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Reatha, his sisters Bonnie Gene and Sharon, wife Tina and his daughters Tonya and Theresa. He is survived and will be deeply missed by his nephew Kristopher (Tammy) McCleary, his nieces April (Ed) Delor and Shannon (Zach) Dove along with great-niece Marissa and great-nephews Kristopher, Dawson, Xavier and Liam and Great Great Nieces Isabella and Dakota and Great Great nephews Sage and Tate and A granddaughter Chloe. He had many friends and neighbors that will also miss him deeply. A graveside memorial will take place in spring of 2026 in Harrison, Michigan.
