Summer Job Fair April 3 at Mid Michigan College Harrison Campus

That time of year has arrived when you start looking to hire your Summer Help!   In partnership with Clare-Gladwin RESD’s Career Tech Education (CTE) Program, Michigan Works! Region 7B is proud to offer a great opportunity for you to recruit some excellent talent. 

This year the Career Tech Education program has 100+ students located in Clare and Gladwin counties who are seeking summer employment.   These students have had 1-2 years of training in a specific career field.  The career fields offered are:  Advanced Manufacturing, Agricultural Science, Automotive Technology, Construction Trades, Criminal Justice, Culinary Arts, Diesel Technology, Digital Media, Education Occupations, Health Occupations, Welding Technology.  First year students receive instruction and hands-on laboratory experience in the particular field, while second year students receive instruction plus a work-based learning experience.

The Summer Job Fair will be held on Wednesday, April 3 from 9 am-3 pm in the lower level of the Mid Michigan College Harrison Campus.  There is no charge to participate.  Six foot tables and chairs will be provided.
