Sigafoose Awarded Progressive Grocer’s National Top Women in Grocery Award     

Sheri Sigafoose, a store director at the Harrison Family Fare, was recently recognized with Progressive Grocer’s national Top Women in Grocery Award. This prestigious award is reserved for women who go above and beyond in their positions to make grocery a better industry to work in.

Sheri was recognized for incredible mentorship of new associates. Her dedication to fostering confidence among new hires has transformed her store into a close-knit community, where everyone's accomplishments are celebrated. This welcoming atmosphere has endeared the store to shoppers, resulting in sales exceeding the 2022 budget by over 10%. Sheri's outstanding commitment to store culture has even elevated her store to a training ground for new directors.

As a Top Women in Grocery winner, Sheri was celebrated with other winners from SpartanNash at the annual Grocery Impact event in Orlando Florida last week at a stunning awards gala.
