SHEILA M. KEEL

Michigan passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Sheila was born December 14, 1949 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Robert and Shirley (Lloyd) Shanks. Sheila was united in marriage to Mr. Johnnie J. Keel on August 10, 1974 in Clio, Michigan. Mr. Keel preceded Sheila in death on June 21, 2016 after forty-one years of marriage.

                Mrs. Keel had resided in Paris since 2018 moving from Harrison and previously from Flint, Michigan and Montrose, Michigan. Sheila attended Living Waters Fellowship Church of Baldwin, Michigan. Sheila was diligent in studying her Bible on a daily basis. She enjoyed puttering around her home and attending dirt track racing since she was a young girl.

                Surviving Mrs. Keel are her three sons; Westley Keel and wife Karla of Paris, Johnnie J. Keel Jr. and wife Charlotte of Harrison and Cecil Keel and wife Heidi of Flint, two daughters; Elaine Keel of Georgia and Holly Keel and Craig DeRosia of Grand Blanc, Michigan, fifteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, one sister, Vickie Jacobson and husband Richard of Harrison, one brother, Ronald Shanks and wife Michelle of Prescott, Arizona, sister in-law, Kimberly Shanks of Montrose, plus many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Keel also was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Clinton Shanks.
