Santa and Mrs. Claus Greet Bevy of Little Believers

HARRISON – After Harrison’s Dec. 9 Lighted Christmas Parade was complete, the line of parents and Christmas wishers queued up and down the street and flowed into the Harrison City Market. Once inside, visitors formed an orderly, eager line awaiting the opportunity to tell Santa of their heart’s desires.

It was about 7:45 p.m. by the time the end of the line (which had extended virtually around the block) became the front of the line – and throughout kids remained patient and well-behaved. Throughout the event, the Claus couple’s smiles and enchanted eyes held true, listening attentively, encouraging children to express themselves, and then sending them off with a gift bag, a candy cane and a “Merry Christmas.”
