Chandler John Skornicka

Chandler John Skornicka, 24, of Clare, Michigan, passed away on December 5, 2023 in Reed City, Michigan. He was born on September 1, 1999, in Cadillac, Michigan. Chandler was a vibrant and outgoing individual who excelled in everything he put his mind to. Chandler is survived by his wife, Desiree, his children, Tru and Harmony, and his children in love, Wyatt, Chase, Serenity, Ryker, Alara, and Lucky. He is also survived by his parents, Matthew and Mea Skornicka, Kambra Skornicka and Tom Genow, his siblings, Danielle (Bailey), Matthew (Kenzie), Megan, and Wyatt, his grandparents, Larry Stevens (Jo Sherman) and David Sewell, Mike Arnold (DeeDee), Debra Watson, as well as extended family Greg Cook, Jason Dropp, and Joe Pawlowski. Chandler also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins who will miss him dearly.

Chandler attended Harrison Primary School and later graduated from Farwell High School. After completing his education, he proudly served in the United States Marine Corp. Chandler found solace and community at the United Methodist Church in Farwell, MI. In his free time, Chandler enjoyed fishing, hunting, frogging with Tom, playing guitar, singing, practicing jiu jitsu and wrestling. He was also passionate about tattoos, attending concerts, gaming with his brothers, and spending quality time with friends and family. Chandler will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched. May his memory be a source of comfort and inspiration.

A memorial service will be held for close family and friends at the 40et8, 150 W Temple Dr, Harrison, MI 48625 on Dec. 16 at 1 p.m. to be immediately followed by a reception/celebration of life. Donations can be made at the time of the memorial service and will be donated to support Chandler's wife and children.
