New Member for Daughters of the American Revolution

On Aug 2, the Michilimacinac Chapter of Clare/Gladwin Counties welcomed a new member Teresa Korn to its Chapter.  Korn was sworn in by Kathleen Lofton and given a Membership Certificate, DAR Pin and flower by Regent Ellen Fuller.

Korn has homes in Texas and Higgins Lake, and has traveled to at least 12 other countries. 

"There's no place like America,” Korn said. “I love my Country!" 

Her family has been traced back to King Edward of England, the Mayflower and the Revolutionary War. Korn’s Patriot for the Revolutionary War is Frederick Kast.

Teresa's Aunt (2nd Cousin) Lillian Leposky is also a member of the Michilimacinac Chapter and shares the same Patriot.
