New Logo and Tentative Open Date for County Museum

The Clare County Historical Society plans a tentative opening for the county museum for Saturday, June 6.  The Society also recently unveiled its new logo designed by Herb Byers to celebrate 50 years as an organization.

CCHS was founded in 1970 with its first project the preservation of the Dover School.  The museum complex as the corner of Dover Road and Eberhart Avenue now includes a museum building, the Dover school, Ott Cabin, blacksmith shop, picnic pavilion and groomed grounds.
