Monica M. Weaver

Monica M. Weaver, age 73, of Farwell, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, near Farwell. She was born the daughter of Basil J. and Jeanne M. (Henry) Weaver on March 15, 1951, in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Monica worked as an LPN for most of her life. She served first in the Caro Regional Center for Developmental Disabilities, then in the ER at Clare Hospital and at the Clare Nursing Home, finally as an In Home Nurse for a few well-loved clients, and most recently as a fulltime caregiver for her mother.

Monica is survived by her mother, Jeanne Weaver of Farwell, her siblings, Sue Huntoon (Amos Brasington) of Ithaca, Mike Weaver of Farwell, Tony Weaver of St. John’s, Carista (Greg) Weaver-Ross of St. Louis, several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, many cousins, and dear friends who miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, two sisters-in-law, and a brother-in-law.

Monica was a very loyal and hard worker, but not a big joiner or socialite, and had expressed her desire to be cremated with little fanfare. Her family plans to honor her wishes and will hold a family remembrance to honor her in the future. Arrangements were made by the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home, Farwell Chapel.
