Meet the Candidate-William Faber

I would like to announce my candidacy for the position of Clare County Drain Commissioner.  I have held that role since my appointment in late May of 2023, following the passing of the former commissioner Carl Parks. I assisted Carl in the field for a number of years, gaining experience in maintaining our county’s lake levels, dams, drains, pumps and wells, as well as working with aquatic weed control applicators and contractors. Since my appointment, I have also gained more insight into the daily workings of our office.

As a semi-retired small business owner and a longtime resident of Clare County, I am active in our community through various organizations and community functions. I would sincerely like to continue serving and listening to the issues concerning the lakes and drains of Clare County. Therefore, I am seeking your support.
