MARSP Clare County Chapter 2021 High School Scholarship Recipient

The Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel, Clare County Chapter donates one $400 scholarship on a yearly rotating basis to a graduating high school senior from Clare, Harrison or Farwell. A $100 yearly donation is also given to Mid Michigan College for its scholarship fund.

The 2021 recipient of the $400 scholarship went to Harrison Community School graduating senior Jayce Russell. He is the son of Sam and Kate Russell. Jayce was senior captain of the Harrison baseball team and enjoys fishing and kayaking with his family. He is an accomplished musician of piano and guitar. Jayce plans to use the scholarship monies to help pay for classes at MMC as he begins his pursuit of a career in education.
