Library Making Its Move To New Surrey Location

HARRISON – The Harrison District Library is pleased to announce its long-awaited move to the historic Surrey House building will happen next week. The library will be closed Aug. 14 through Aug. 22 and, pending final inspections, tentatively reopen on Aug. 23 at its new location. Library hours will remain the same Monday and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

All materials checked out will be extended during the closing. PLEASE DO NOT RETURN ANY MATERIALS DURING THIS TIME. No late charges will be incurred. Online services are available on the library website: www.hdl.org. Notices regarding any changes in opening and closing will be posted to the library Facebook page and distributed to media outlets for release.
