Letter to the Editor-Reader Urges Caution

Be careful if you call for an ambulance in Harrison. I had a terrible nosebleed and my girlfriend was rushing me to the hospital and when we got by the golf driving range we saw an ambulance sitting there and because we didn’t call 911 they weren’t going to check me over or give me a ride to the hospital.

It would have been better for me if I would have just went on to the hospital, they charged me $895 for a 12-mile ride and when I couldn’t pay it they put it on my credit and I can’t even get a loan now.
