Reader Favors Clare Public Schools Proposal

My wife and I moved to Clare two-and-a-half years ago now to retire and be near family. We love this town and the wonderful people we are beginning to know. I was wondering, what could make this an even better place to live? We became aware of the Clare Public Schools and the age of the buildings.

The Clare Board of Education has done a great job in preparing a proposal for us to consider. Improving the quality of the facilities for educating our children would make this an even better place to live. I used the calculator on the Clare Public Schools website and determined it will cost us 92 cents per day or $27.60 per month to help fund the entire project!

That is a bargain! If you are in the Clare Public School District, before you vote on May 2, look carefully at the proposal and calculate what your part of the pie will cost. We encourage you to count the cost and make the choice to support our children, youth, and the future of Clare. Help make Clare an even better place to live!
