Letter to the Editor-Student Involvement Reassuring

I must say how impressed I am with the teachers,
coaches and leaders of young adults in our County.
I, as County Commissioner, have as one of my duties to attend Township meetings in Frost, Hayes, Summerfield, Winterfield, and Greenwood. Lately, in several of my Townships, I have witnessed students, scouts, and other young adults attend these meetings. They have been listening, learning and asking questions as part of their assignments from their leaders and teachers. They are truly interested and learning about our local system of government. Townships are a great place to start. They are learning about the hard work that our local leaders do in making our County government function. I am so proud of our County townships, teachers, coaches, leaders, and students. Thank you all for being involved. Our future, I think, is in good hands.
