Lansing Man Sentenced for Assault

Darik Edwin Anderson of Lansing pleaded guilty on July 24, 2023, to Police Officer-Assault/Resist/Obstruct, as a habitual 4^th offender. He was sentenced Sept. 18 by Judge Tara Hovey to a prison term of 2 years to 15 years, with credit for 196 days already served. He was also ordered to pay a total of $698 in fines, costs and fees.
