                Julian Alexander Trevino (J.R.) age 70 of Harrison, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. Julian was born April 15, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan the son of Julian Trevino and Norma Jean (Searing) Trevino. Mr. Trevino was united in marriage to Ms. Brenda L. Maple on April 26, 1969.

                Julian had resided in Harrison since 2010, after he retired from Chrysler Corporation as an electrician. He was a loving, devoted husband, and father whose greatest sources of pride were his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed volunteering at the Harrison Moose Lodge and Family Center #2235 blood drives, riding his motorcycle, driving the dirt roads and trails in his side by side, siting in the yard or his “man cave”, listening to music and spending time with his family. Julian had a big and giving heart and would help anyone that needed it. He always defended the “underdogs” in life.

                Surviving Mr. Trevino is his wife of fifty-two years, Brenda L. Trevino of Harrison, his son, Julian A. Trevino Jr. and wife Tara of Chesterfield, Michigan, his daughter, Jennifer M. Simmons and husband Ernest of Madisonville, Tennessee, three grandchildren; Nicholas Trevino of Warren, Michigan, Shyann Colton of Mount Pleasant, Michigan and Brett Trevino of Chesterfield, three great-grandchildren; Bently, Everleigh and Rowan, two sisters; Dee Edge and Linda Leto, plus many nieces, nephews and extended family members and his beloved fur babies.  Mr. Trevino was preceded in death by his parents.

                In keeping with Julian’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Life Celebration service honoring Julian will be held at a later date.
