Jo Ann Ewing, age 88, of Harrison, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2026, at her home.
A Memorial Service for Jo Ann will be held at Hope Baptist Church, 3315 E. Townline Lake Rd, Harrison on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Gary Biggs officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow in the fellowship hall. Memorial contribution may be made to Hope Baptist Church, Building Fund. Envelopes will be available at the church.
Jo Ann was born in Ingham County, on June 4, 1938, the daughter of Frank and Dorothy (McCaide) Baldwin. She married Richard Ralph Ewing; he preceded her in death. JoAnn was a member of Hope Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family and her church family. Jo Ann also liked to garden, knit, crochet, and travel to see her grandchildren.
Jo Ann is survived by her children, April Ewing of Harrison, Marian Ewing of Okemos, Patrick Ewing of Osage, Iowa, Richard Ewing, Jr. of Harrison, Heidi (Jay) Lambert of Havre de Grace, MD; grandchildren Samantha Smith of Dover, DE, Cody Smith of Klamath Falls, OR, Joshua Rich of Northern California, Brandy Rich of Coos Bay, OR; and sister-in-law Martha Baldwin of Westphalia.
Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents; husband Richard; sister Nancy; and brother Ed.
