Janice Kay Kennicott, age 71, of Harrison passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak.
In following with Janice's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal services are planned at this time.
Janice was born on January 8, 1955, in Saginaw, daughter of Francis C. and Anna M. (Wenzlick) Woods. Janice married the love of her life, Kim Kennicott, in 1976, in Owosso, MI. Janice worked in patient care at the Memorial Healthcare Hospital in Owosso for 45 years. She loved spending time on the beach, collecting shells. Janice enjoyed tubing behind their boat and traveling throughout the United States. She enjoyed spending time shopping and going to yard sales. Janice will be remembered for her boisterous laugh, which could identify her from a ways away.
Janice is survived by her husband of 50 years, Kim Kennicott of Harrison; children, Amber Kennicott of Florida and Scott (Cassie) Kennicott of Pennsylvania; and six grandchildren, Riley, Madison, Emma, Regan, Flynn, and Killian.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents and sister.
