Geraldine Marah Lintz

Geraldine Marah Lintz, age 85, of rural Harrison, went to be with her Lord on Friday, May 3, 2024.

A Celebration of Geraldine's Life will be held at a later date at The Gathering United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lintz Family, in care of: June Damm. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Geraldine was born on June 1, 1938, in Michigan, daughter of Thomas A. Goodall and Jenny Y. (Kuna) Goodall. Geraldine was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, George Howard Lintz, on May 24, 1955, in Rochester, MI. Geraldine worked as the food manager of food service at the Oxford Elementary and High School for many years. In 1984 George and Geraldine moved to Harrison from Oxford, Michigan, relocating to the family cottage, making it their retirement home. She was very active to TOPS and a member of The Gathering United Methodist Church in Harrison. Geraldine enjoyed working elections in Summerfield Township, gardening, crafting, was an active reader, baker, cooker, a member of the Bowling Hall of Fame WBIC, and loved her MSU Spartans.

Geraldine is survived by her five loving children, Thomas (Shirley) Lintz of Evandale, Arizona, Cynthia (Daniel) Curtis  of Harrison, Jennie Lintz-Moyer of Lake Orion, Michigan, Howard Lintz of Harrison, and June (Joanne Rose) Damm of Humbledt, TN; three grandchildren, Daniel (Tara) Curtis, Heather Curtis, and Jennifer Goins; six great-grandchildren, Kolton Curtis, Alex Curtis, Harley Davidson, Zachary Schumaker, Alana Goins, and Vanessa Pickette; one great-great-grandchild, Axel Raymond Curtis; sisters, Martha Northcote of Lake Orion, MI, and Joan Story of Knoxville, TN; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and her beloved k-9 companion, Mindy Sue.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, George Lintz on January 8, 2021; daughter, Julie Ann Lintz; son, Jeffery Lee Lintz; brothers-in-law, Donald Northcote and Doug Story.
