The Farwell golf team took part in an early season meet on Saturday. The Eagles were at the Lakeview Invitational, held at Brookside Golf Course. Playing conditions were less than ideal however.
“Under some terrible weather conditions, the men struggled,” head coach Jim Lard said. “Course conditions were very trying and the scores reflected that.”
They were led by Brayden Travis with an 18-hole score of 104, followed by Jamison Santure with a 114. Cal Mogg was able to get a 120, Spencer Brown shot a 123 and Parker Tatara finished with a 134.
Farwell was at St. Louis for a Jack Pine Conference meet on Monday, and they’ll head to Currie Golf Course in Midland on Thursday for another league meet.
