DANIEL “DAN” ALLEN TAYLOR

            Daniel “Dan” Allen Taylor 41 of Harrison passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 17, 2019. Daniel was born April 6, 1978 in Jacksonville, Florida the son of Timothy Lee Taylor and Deborah Lynn (Turek) Taylor. Daniel graduated from Harrison Community Schools in 1996.

            Dan had resided in Harrison since 1994, moving from Midland, Michigan. He was employed at StageRight Corporation of Clare as a Robot Welder and previously employed with Save A Lot of Harrison. Dan enjoyed fishing, hiking, camping, watching cartoons, Godzilla movies and Jack Skellington shows. He will fondly be remembered for his love of spending time with his family and his never-ending craving of snack foods.

            Surviving Daniel is his mother, Deborah Lynn Taylor of Harrison, two daughters; Kiara Taylor of Harrison and Allenah Taylor also of Harrison, one son, Orian Taylor of Harrison, two brothers; Tony Taylor and wife Carol of Clare and Corey Taylor of Harrison, maternal grandparents, Gary and Deanne Turek of Saginaw, Michigan, two nieces; Nicole Taylor and Charlotte Taylor, one nephew, Anthony Taylor, plus many aunts, uncles and extended family members. Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Timothy Lee Taylor, one brother, Matthew Lee Taylor, paternal grandparents, Jerry and Neva Taylor and one uncle, Randy Taylor.

            Celebration of Life services honoring Dan took place on Monday, September 23, 2019 from Clare United Methodist Church,105 E. 7^th St., Clare, Michigan with Pastor John G. Kasper officiating. A Memorial Gathering was held Sunday, September 22, 2019 Clare United Methodist Church. Memorial gifts in memory of Daniel may be considered to the Taylor family, in care of: Deborah Lynn Taylor.
