DALE ELMER WILLIAMS JR.

                Dale Elmer Williams Jr. 68 of Harrison passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Saturday, August 14, 2021. Dale was born May 21, 1953, in Indian Town, Pennsylvania the son of Dale Elmer Sr. and Marilyn Joyce (Knack) Williams. Dale was united in marriage to Ms. Bonnie L. Pribbernow on February 19, 1977, in Coleman, Michigan.

                Mr. Williams had resided in Harrison since 1981, moving from Gladwin, Michigan. Dale was a delivery person for his son and daughter in law’s pizza store for many years. He was an avid University of Michigan fan as well as a dedicated fan and supporter of Harrison High School athletics. Dale enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching old western movies, listening to his rock and roll music and was proud of his vinyl record collection which was over 3000 records. He never missed any of his grandchildren’s sporting events or any televised U of M and Detroit Lions football games. Many will fondly remember Dale’s love of people and his knack for striking up a good conversation with family, friends, and complete strangers.

                Surviving Mr. Williams is his loving wife and best friend of forty-four years, Mrs. Bonnie L. Williams of Harrison, four sons: Chris Williams and wife Tara of Harrison, Jeremy Williams and wife Barb of Harrison, Josh Williams, and wife Mandy also of Harrison and David Williams and girlfriend Michelle of North Carolina, fifteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, his mother, Marilyn Williams of Loomis, Michigan, two sisters: Cathy Saylor and husband Gary of Loomis, and Jean Handy also of Loomis, plus many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his father.

                Memorial services honoring Dale will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at the family residence.
