Clare County Homicide Suspect in Custody

The Clare Co. Sheriff Dept reported the suspect was taken into custody without incident. Judy Marie Boyer will be lodged in the Clare County Jail. 

The Clare County Sheriff Dept, Clare City Police and Michigan State Police have been looking for Boyer since yesterday afternoon. 

Both victims in this case are deceased, an additional 2 more deceased bodies were located on the property late last night.  No names are being released at this time pending notification of family members.  We urge the citizens to keep an eye out for the suspect in this investigation.  She is considered armed and dangerous.

On 10/20/21 at approximately 4 pm Deputies, Clare Police, and MSP Troopers responded to a residence on S. Harrison Ave south of Surrey for a report of a shooting that resulted  in two injured victims. Police are looking for a Judy Boyer w/f age 54 5’2 105 lbs with buzzed cut short pink hair last seen wearing unknown colored pajama shirt and pants. Boyer allegedly left the scene in a maroon / red colored 1998 Chevrolet Pickup Truck with Michigan registration E9507. She is believed to be headed to the Cadillac area.
