Carl Walter Harmon

Carl Walter Harmon, born March, 23, 1951, age 72, of Farwell, MI, went home to “Big Ernie” surrounded by his loving family on February 4, 2024.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, Feb. 10 at the American Legion Hall Post 558, 400 East Ludington Dr., Farwell, MI.

Carl was a Vietnam Veteran who returned home to work in manufacturing and truck driving. He loved racing and motorcycles.

He was a beloved; father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Walter (Edith) Harmon and Mary Frost, daughter; Sandra Thrush, son-in-law; Tommy Carpenter, grandson; Jordon Carpenter, siblings; Geraldine (Ross) Ferrenburg, Illa (Delmar) Rutherford, Cecilia Jarvis, brother-in-law; Donald Bricker, ex-wife and friend; Nona Harmon, Ride or Die; Robert White.

Carl is survived by his children; Dawn Harmon, Shawn Harmon, Brandy Carpenter, Carl (Lisa) Harris, siblings; Alberta Bricker, Lydia (Pat) Maresh, Irene (Jerald) Shaver, Dan Jarvis BIL, Walter (Kathy) Werden, beloved grandchildren; Shelby (Dylan) Eagle-Hart, Gage (Becca) Eagle, Michael Vandaley, Damion (Emily) Harmon, Jacob (Ashton) Carpenter, Matthew Vandaley, Siera Harmon, Summer Fobear, Colton Miller, Cloe Harmon, Summer Harris; 10 “joys of his life” his great-grandchildren, ex-wife and friend; Cathy Harmon, and special friend and caregiver; Tommy Barlet.
