Camp Clover is Back – Local 4-H Camp Returns After 3 Long Awaited Years

In Search of Chaperones and Teen Counselors

Posted

Every child deserves great role models and mentors to help them grow. If you have a desire to engage with and help youth, 4-H welcomes you to join us this summer at Camp Clover! Isabella, Gladwin, and Clare 4-H Programs are teaming up to bring back Camp Clover. The 4-H summer camp took a break during the past 3 years, and local 4-H staff are excited to inform us that it will return this year! Camp Clover mixes summer fun with hands-on education.

4-H Staff are in search of Chaperones and Teen Counselors to help make Camp Clover possible again. If you would like to apply to become a Chaperone or Teen Counselor, applications are due Friday, March 31st. Extension to the deadline may be adjusted to individuals needed. Adults must become 4-H Volunteers. Teen Counselors must enroll into 4-H for the camp; enrollment is free.

In addition, Camp Clover will be offering 3 paid positions: 2 cooks certified in ServSafe and 1 registered Nurse. Please call the Clare County MSU Extension office or apply online within the Chaperone Application. Link provided below.
