Bruce Arlen Watson age 61 of Harrison passed away suddenly at his home. Bruce was born January 23, 1965, in Charleston, West Virginia the son of Carolyn (Grandstaff) Watson and Robert Watson. Bruce had resided in Harrison since 1981, moving from Arizona.
Bruce worked for many years in the oil drilling industry as a rig hand. He spent his time away from work hunting, fishing, gardening, riding motorcycles and wrenching on anything mechanical.
Surviving Bruce is his wife and best friend, Angela Watson of Harrison, three children; Curtis Watson of Harrison, Marcia Palmer and Tony Carter of Harrison and Ryan Norton and wife Danaka also of Harrison, five grandchildren; Alexa Palmer and Riley Badour, Cadence Hardy, Emma Palmer, Addyson Palmer and Kinsley Norton, three brothers; Curtis Watson of Texas, Clifford Watson of Pontiac, Michigan and Mark Watson of North Dakota, two half-sisters; Linda Davis and Anna Maskelis, one half-brother, Richard Watson, plus many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Robert Watson and Shannon Watson, two half-sisters; Pamela Thomas and Deborah Thomas, and one half-brother, Tony Watson.
Celebration of Life services honoring Bruce will be held Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Hamilton Township Hall, 3042 Rodgers Avenue, Harrison, Michigan 48625, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Memorial gifts in memory of Bruce may be considered to: Angela Watson.
