BARBARA “BARB” GAIL BUTTS

Barbara “Barb” Gail Butts, 66, of Harrison passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by family on Wednesday, July 24, 2019. Barbara was born March 13, 1953, in Ontonagon, Michigan, the daughter of Willard Paul Jordan and Jennie (Thomas) Jordan. Upon graduation from high school, Barb earned her CENA certification and practiced over seven years.

Barb was united in marriage to Mr. William Frank Butts on November 27, 2010, in Chehalis, Washington. Barb and William moved to Harrison in 2013, coming from Chehalis. She spent countless hours crocheting family keepsakes. Barb was an avid flower gardener, pool player, bowler and follower of various movies and police reality shows.

Surviving Mrs. Butts is her loving husband and best friend, William Frank Butts of Harrison, four sons; William G. Butts and wife Amy, James Mason, William J. Mason and wife Carol and Justin Adkins and wife Merry, fourteen grandchildren; Tiffany and Treven Walters, Nick Mason, Austin Mason, Brianna Adkins, Ada Mollohan, Joe Adkins, Pvt. Christian Kuhns, Haley Adkins, Destiny Adkins, Hanna Butts, Kendra Butts, Jessica and Ryan Marriott, Brad Mason and Christine Mason, seven great-grandchildren; Rylan, Chase Jr., Maylynn, Nova, Olivia, Azailia, Isabella and one sister, Sandra Loomis, two brothers; Rodney LaPlant and Wilard LaPlant, many nieces, nephews and her best friend and sister, Shawn (Smith) Benedict and husband John. Barb was preceded in death by her parents, her granddaughter, Harley and many sisters and brothers.

Funeral services honoring Mrs. Butts will be held Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison with Pastor Connie Bongard officiating. Visitation will take place on Saturday, July 27, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.
