Atkinson's Celebrate 60th Anniversary

Long-time Harrison residents, Don and Bonnie Atkinson, will mark their sixtieth wedding anniversary with a quiet retreat in Northern Michigan. The couple were high school sweethearts, graduating with Harrison’s class of 1957. The former Bonnie Dicken was united in marriage with Don on September 3, 1960, at the United Brethren Church in Harrison. Don & Bonnie raised two sons: Tim, who now lives in Bay City, and Todd, who resides in Fennville. Bonnie retired from Mid Michigan Community College and Don worked as a builder and craftsman.
