Norma Jean Ulch

Norma Jean Ulch, age 89, of Lansing, formerly of Harrison, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024, at Delta Retirement Center.

A Celebration of Life Service for Norma will take place at Clark-Stocking Funeral Chapel on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 11 a.m. with Benjamen Evers officiating. Interment will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery. A luncheon will follow the Committal Service in the Reflections Reception Center. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Abigail Hospice or a hospice of your choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Norma was born on December 14, 1934, in Greenville, daughter of Albert and Millie (Holmden) Varney. She was a graduate from Harrison High School and married Norman Eugene Ulch on February 11, 1954, in Angola, IN. Norma enjoyed quilting, knitting, baking, but most of all, spending time with family and friends.

Norma is survived by her daughters, Karen (Mike) Foley, Linda (Mark) Thornton, and Lisa Ulch; son, Norman (Valerie) Ulch; ten grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Deke Ulch; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Shue.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Norman Ulch in 2017; parents; and 11 siblings.
