William “Bill” Thomas Ripley 54 of Harrison passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at his home. William was born November 18, 1966 in Montcalm County, Michigan the son of Robert Allen Ripley Sr. and Betty Lou (Nagy) Ripley. Bill graduated from East Detroit High School in 1984. He had resided in Harrison since 2006, moving from Roseville, Michigan. Bill was an avid fisherman, golfer, and hunter. He enjoyed cooking, watching televised cooking shows and sporting events. Bill was always ready to help anyone needing assistance, whether it be odd jobs or painting.

                Surviving Mr. Ripley is his father, Robert A. Ripley Sr. of Clare, Michigan, his daughter, Stephanie Wooten of Spring Lake, Michigan, his companion of many years, Judith A. Douglas of Harrison, three grandchildren: Madeline, Bentley, and Lennon, two sisters: Cindy Garuscho of Florida and Sherry Gagalio and husband Tony of White Lake, Michigan, four brothers: Robert Ripley Jr. and Phyllis Purcell of Clinton Township, Michiga, Dale Ripley and wife Jude of Westland, Michigan, Terry Ripley and wife Linda of Warren, Michigan and Jerry Ripley of Muskegon, Michigan, many nieces, nephews, extended family members and his friends. Mr. Ripley was preceded in death by his mother and beloved fur baby, Ralph.

                A time of memorial gathering will take place on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison. Celebration of Life services honoring Bill will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison with Reverend Jeff England officiating.
