UNITED WAY LOOKS FOR VOLUNTEERS TO HELP MAKE FUNDING DECISIONS

It is that time of the year again where United Way looks for community volunteers who reside or work in Clare and Gladwin Counties to help us decide how to distribute the money raised during the annual campaign. This year, we will be reviewing grant applications and hearing presentations in April. The schedule by county is listed below:

• Gladwin County Agency Presentations, Tuesday, April 20th from 12:30 pm-4:00 pm
• Gladwin County Agency Presentations, Wednesday, April 21 from 10:00 am- 12:00 pm and 12:30 pm- 2:30 pm
• Clare County Agency Presentations, Tuesday, April 27 from 10:00 am -12:00 pm and 12:30 pm -2:30 pm 
• Clare County Agency Presentations, Wednesday, April 28  from 1:00 pm- 3:00 pm and 3:30- 5:30 pm

Gladwin County Citizen Review Panels will be held at the Beaverton Activity Center at 106 Tonkin St. Beaverton, Michigan 48612. Clare County Citizen Review Panels will be held at the United Way office in Clare at 106 W. 7th St., Clare, MI 48617. You can serve part of one day, one whole day, or serve shifts on both days for your county.
