United Way Coordinates Local Christmas Outreach Programs

The Clare County Christmas Outreach Committee invites low-income households with children to sign up for Clare County Christmas programs that are provided by the partnership that we have with DHHS and St. Athanasius Catholic Church.

United Way works together in partnership with the other agencies to make sure that we support folks with a single program that best fits their needs without allowing for duplications or overlapping of services which would decrease the number of households being served.

The programs are:

Project Kids Christmas Outreach – partners DHHS and United Way of Clare and Gladwin Counties put this on and serves low-income households with children. The registration deadline is Nov. 8.

Adopt A Family – United Way of Clare and Gladwin Counties runs this and it’s for low-income households with children. The registration deadline is Nov. 1.

To register for these programs, the Community Giving Program Release of Information form must be filled out completely and returned by the deadline date. Forms can be picked up at the DHHS office in Harrison or by calling our office, United Way of Clare and Gladwin Counties at 989-386-6015, or by emailing info@unitedwaycgc.org
