Two Vehicle Crash Takes Life of Farwell Woman

On 08/02/21, at 10:37 a.m., Clare County Central dispatch received a call of a two-vehicle, personal injury accident at the intersection of West Ludington Drive and Surrey Road in the Township of Surrey, in Clare County. Responding deputies arrive and found that a 2010 Chrysler Town & County minivan being driven by 54-year-old Terressa Carson of Clare was traveling West on Surrey Road and disregarded the stop sign at Ludington Drive and collided with a 2009 Pontiac G6 being driven by 40-year old Kandy Coslow of Farwell. Carson was treated at the scene and transported to Midland Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Coslow was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash remains under investigation by the Clare County Sheriff’s Office and the Michigan State Police Reconstruction Team.

Assisting at the scene were the Clare City Police, Michigan State Police, Surrey Township Fire and Rescue, MMR, Snoopy’s Wrecker Service, Clute’s Wrecker Service.
