Two Car Accident Takes Life of Farwell Woman

On 09/27/21 at approximately 11:00 a.m. Clare County Central Dispatch received a call for a report of a two-car motor vehicle crash on Colonville Road and Rogers Ave in Sheridan Township. A preliminary investigation of the crash show that a Dodge Dakota was traveling south on Rogers and failed to stop at the posted intersection. A Ford 150 was traveling east and the Dodge Dakota pulled into the path of the vehicle. After the vehicles collided the Dodge Dakota rolled and the driver, 36 year old Judith Conaway of Farwell, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver, of the other vehicle was taken to MidMichigan Medical Center-Clare and is listed in stable condition. Seatbelt use and alcohol appear to have been a contributing factor in the crash. The crash remains under investigation at this time.
