Last Christmas, Willard Bringold’s children challenged him to a pumpkin growing contest. He’d never grown a pumpkin before, but since they told him they were going to win – he grew a pumpkin. This is his story as told to the Cleaver office!
Bringold’s pumpkin outweighs any family competitors by more than 200 pounds. He is the official winner of the First Bringold Family Pumpkin Contest with this 428-pound pumpkin. Bringold is pictured here with his great-granddaughter Mackenzie.
