Sheriff Dept. Seeks Robbery Suspect

UPDATE: On 3/15/20 at approximately 11:45 a.m. a 26 year old male suspect from Clare was arrested on charges in Isabella County by Mt. Pleasant PD. It was discovered that he matched the description of the armed robbery suspect and Detectives interviewed him. He was wearing the same clothing as worn during the robbery and he possessed the gun utilized in the robbery. He remains lodged in Isabella County. Clare Co Sheriff Detectives will be seeking charges to be reviewed by the Clare County Prosecutor’s Office.

On 03/15/2020 at approximately 4:20am Clare County Central Dispatch received a call about an armed robbery that had just occurred. The robbery was reported to have occurred at 493 E Main St, Farwell, MI at the Next Door Food Store.  The suspect is described as being a white male, approximately 5’9” tall, thin build, with unknown hair color.  The suspect was last seen wearing dark color pants and white in color hooded sweatshirt.  The suspect was reported to be armed with a black handgun and carrying a reusable style grocery bag.
